SSYP*N Events

SSYP*N stands for South Shore Young Professionals NETWORKING. These events are evening, casual networking events, generally held once a month. These events are designed for our members and friends to meet and greet, ingest and imbibe, learn and laugh.

Annual Holiday Party and Toy Drive

Our most popular annual event is our Holiday Party that benefits a local charity serving the children of our community. We seek to create a celebration of season in a warm, home-like environment, while giving a special gift to those in need.

Charity Golf Tournament

Each year we select a different charity to benefit from our Tournament. We are currently in the planning stages of our 2012 Tournament. If you are interested in nominating a charity, would like to sponsor, or would like more information on how to get involved, please email our golf committee.

We will be adding two new types of events in our 2012 Calendar: Mentor Panels and Mentor Dinners. We are seeking to forge a connection between those making a difference in our communities and the next generation of leadership on the South Shore. Our first Mentor Panel is scheduled for April 26, 2012. The topic will be “What Does It Mean to Serve on a Board?” More details will be coming soon, so watch for an announcement.
