The SSYP Board of Directors recently held officers’ elections. The new officers shall serve for 3 years.

Mike Duffley of MetLife Home Loans was elected president. He shall serve as the chief executive officer and be a spokesperson for the organization.

Our new vice-president is Peter Abraham of Convention Data Services. Peter will be assisting Mike in his duties overseeing all organization activities. Peter previously co-chaired the Events Committee with Mike Duffley.

Shea Baker of 3thought will serve as secretary. She is also Chair of the Communications Committee and coordinates all marketing and documentation efforts of the organization.

And last, but most certainly not least, Michael Sheehan of Cape Medical Supply is now treasurer of SSYP. A founder of the organization, Mike has been working since our inception to ensure all of our finances are in order and will continue to do so.

If you are interesting in becoming more involved in the initiatives and direction of the South Shore Young Professionals, we would encourage you to join one of our committees.

Sponsorship

The support SSYP receives from the local business community has been integral to our success and will continue to be increasingly important.
