Networking in the Q

It wasn’t quite the warm summer evening we had hoped for, but the rain did hold off and the roof deck was open for our SSYP*N event on Thursday, June 10. About 45 networkers enjoyed the valet parking and hospitality of Alba in Quincy. We were glad to see lots of new faces. The restaurant reserved its entire upstairs dining room for the SSYP and attendees were treated to teriyaki chicken skewers and mini-beef wellington, as well as a wide array of Mediterranean antipasto.

Sharon Burgess of the Community Involvement Committee was available to inform attendees about the SSYP volunteer opportunity at the Special Olympics on June 19. Several new volunteers signed up to help and received gold stars.

The event was sponsored by South Coastal Bank, and Matt Kreiser gave a short presentation on the services that South Coastal could offer SSYP members and businesses.

WATD continued its tradition of a Triple Play Raffle. Craig Stroman was the winner and unable to utilize this great advertising package, he decided to donate his prize to a business owner he met that night, Matt Ulvila of 3thought.
