Great Turn Out for SSYP’s 1st Joint Event with the South Shore Chamber of Commerce
On Tuesday, March 22, SSYP hosted it’s first joint Business After Hours event with the South Shore Chamber of Commerce. It was a special evening featuring a CEO Spotlight on the founder and owner and The Catered Affair, Holly Safford.
Just under 150 people came out for this unique networking event held at the beautiful Barker Tavern in Scituate. Our hosts treated us to passed hors d’oeuvres and a never-ending buffet of munchies that included chicken skewers and baked brie.
SSYP’s, Peter Abraham, served as emcee for the evening and asked our featured CEO about her success. From humble beginnings in her own home kitchen, Holly Safford grew her business into one of New England’s premier catering and event design companies. She believes that great success can come from adversity, and although with hindsight, she would do a couple things differently along the way, she is proud of what she has learned and accomplished for her family.
